Me and the Wolf is a story inspired by a song of the same name, co-written by Bradley Brassfield and Cody Russell while playing guitar and improvising lyrics about animals to make Bradley’s young nephew laugh. The song was a hilarious hit amongst the Brassfield family, and Chadley and Jessie Rose Brassfield penned a chorus to make the song complete. What started as an inside joke escalated into Brassfield composing 20 rhyming couplets for the story, bringing the animal friends and their leader, a young boy named Cody, to life in a picture book for children.
